Activities and Objectives of the KCGF
Detailed Aims & Objectives
The activities of the KCGF are guided by the following strategic pillars
Institutionalize the "Global Family Meet-up" as a marquee event, supplemented by regional gatherings, ensuring face-to-face interaction that strengthens the social fabric of the community.
Organize structured heritage pilgrimages to ancestral villages in the Gandikota region to educate younger generations, renovate ancestral structures, and maintain a physical connection to history.
Document and digitize the family trees (Vamsha Vruksham) of all Kamma Catholic families, ensuring our lineage is recorded for posterity.
Act as a benevolent mediator in resolving family disputes or misunderstandings, serving as a neutral body to restore peace and harmony within families.
Create a "KCGF Scholarship Fund" ensuring that financial constraints never prevent a bright student from pursuing higher education in Engineering, Medicine, Civil Services, and more.
Establish a mentorship protocol where established professionals in the community guide students and fresh graduates beyond just awards and recognition.
Conduct workshops on emerging career trends, overseas education opportunities, and entrance exam preparation including NEET, JEE, and UPSC.
Create an internal marketplace where community members prioritize doing business with one another (B2B), including a directory of service providers from doctors and lawyers to contractors and retailers.
Assist aspiring entrepreneurs with seed funding guidance, business plan reviews, and connections to investors within the community.
Maintain a dynamic job portal where business owners can post vacancies, giving first preference to qualified candidates from KCGF families.
Empower farming families by connecting them with agricultural experts, introducing modern high-yield techniques, and helping them bypass middlemen for better market prices.
Operate a highly confidential and verified Marriage Bureau focused on finding compatible matches within the Kamma Catholic fold, prioritizing shared values and traditions over purely commercial interests.
Provide guidance to young couples, helping them build strong, faith-based foundations for their future families.
Financially and morally support young men and women from the community who are joining the priesthood or religious life.
Ensure the well-being of retired priests and nuns from the community who have dedicated their lives to the service of God.
Organize retreats and prayer meets that reinforce the unique identity of Kamma Catholics, blending distinct cultural customs with devout Catholic faith.
Institute the "KCGF Ratna" and "KCGF Prathibha" awards to honor those who have brought glory to the community in Science, Arts, Sports, Public Service, and Industry.
Maintain an emergency reserve fund to assist families struck by sudden tragedies including medical emergencies, accidents, or natural calamities.
